Curricular Activities
Basically speaking activities encompassing the prescribed courses of study are called curricular or academic activities. Curricular activities are undertaken inside the classroom, in the laboratory, workshop or in the library. These activities are an integral part of the overall instructional programme. Because in the organization of these activities or programmes there lies active involvement of the teaching staff of the educational institution. At BFPS numerous curricular activities take place such as Debate, Quiz, Essay writing, Art, Drawing, Dance, Music, Painting etc.
Co-Curricular Activities
Co-curricular activities are activities and programs that take place outside of the traditional classroom but in some manner complement academic learning from classroom curriculum. While they do complement what students are learning at school, they are ungraded and do not allow for academic credit to be earned. They can take place outside of school and after regular school hours. Either the school or an outside organization can coordinate co-curricular activities.
